What prompted you to want to become a member of this year's BCB Brooklyn Education Committee? Is there an industry shift or topic that you would like attention drawn to as a result?
It's been an absolute honor to have my communities recognize me for being an inspiration or making in impact on the industry. It makes me want to do better and set the best example that I can for the next generations. Inclusivity is a topic I've been passionate about. The industry has made great changes to be more inclusive but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Before I was permanently invested into hospitality, I had taught wilderness survival on Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles.
